100% Money Back & Guarantee

Le Pawtique offers a 100% money back guarantee meaning that if you are not entirely happy with your purchase you can return it. Should you be dissatisfied with the product you have purchased for any reason (subject to certain exceptions listed below) and wish to cancel your order, Le Pawtique undertakes to refund you the full purchase price, on condition that:

  • You e-mail us notification of your wish to cancel the order within 7 days from date of delivery of the goods to you;
  • You then return the relevant item to us using counter to counter tracked postal service or special delivery courier service, at your cost;
  • Any item returned to us must be in its original, unused and saleable condition. It must have all original tags attached and must be returned with all original documents and packaging;
  • Subject to compliance with the above, we will refund you within 7 days of receipt of the relevant item, to your nominated bank account, of which you are to provide us details of together with the returned item. Le Pawtique reserves the right to require proof from the customer of such account refund details.

Secure Payment

Payment on the Le Pawtique website can be made in one of three ways:

  • Via  our secure card processing facility PayFast (Pty) Ltd using Visa or Mastercards
  • By Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
  • Bank Deposit

Payment details will be provided to you during the checkout process once you have selected which item or items you would like to purchase. Customers who are paying via  Electronic Transfer (EFT) are required to use appropriate reference numbers as stated on your confirmation e-mail and send proof of payment to orders@lepawtique.co.za before your  order can be processed. 

Credit card transactions will be processed for Le Pawtique via PayFast who are the approved payment gateway for First National Bank of South Africa. PayFast uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Customers may visit www.payfast.co.za should they wish to view their security certificates and security policies


Delivery Policy

For orders over R400 we offer free delivery nationwide
For orders under R400 please see below terms:

Delivery fees:

  1. Gauteng – R45
  2. DBN – R75
  3. CT and other – R85

Please note that we do not deliver outside of South Africa for time being.

Subject to stock availability with suppliers and receipt of payment from you, orders will be processed and the merchandise handed over to a courier company or the Post Office for delivery. Le Pawtique offers a courier service across most of South Africa. All orders will arrive within 3 to 5 working days of placing your order however please allow additional time for outlying areas and if there are any stock shortages.

  • For JHB residing customers, you are welcome to collect your orders from our shop in Craighall Park. Just make sure you indicate this in check out so no charge is incurred.
  • For breeders rates we do not offer free delivery for orders - please contact us for more information

It is your responsibility to provide us with the correct mailing address at the time of order. If items have to be re-delivered because they were refused, undeliverable or unclaimed due to incorrect address details provided by you, then you will be billed and liable for any associated additional delivery costs.


Refund and Returns Policy

Although Le Pawtique uses its best efforts to accurately describe all products for sale on its website, some descriptions may be of a generic nature and not specific to the particular product you wish to purchase. Most returns can be avoided by proper measurement. We have several sizing charts on our website to guide you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help you find just the right size for your pet.

  • Any items returned and exchanged for wrong sizing will need to be returned to us at your own cost and the replacement courier cost also to be covered for by the customer.

Damaged or faulty products may be returned, on condition that:

  • You must e-mail us within 48 hours of delivery of the product to you, advising us of the alleged defect and include the order number, date of purchase, item number and description of the relevant product;
  • You then return the relevant item to us using counter to counter tracked postal service or special delivery courier service, at your cost;
  • Any item returned to us must be in its original and unused condition. It must have all original tags attached and must be returned with all original documents and packaging;
  • Should the complaint be valid, a replacement product will be sent to you, at our cost, as soon as possible, and subject to stock availability. Should your complaint not be valid, then the product will be returned to you, at your cost.
  • If an item is returned for exchange due to wrong size, you will be liable for the full delivery fee of the replacement item. Items are only exchangeable for alternate sizes within 14 days of receipt, subject to stock availability.
  • Seasonal, personalised and discontinued items, toys and end of range items are regretfully not returnable, unless damaged or defective, as per the above.
  • If the product you ordered is not available or out of stock, we will dispatch your product as and when it becomes available. Usually, products will arrive within 3 – 5 days and for orders received on Saturday, Sunday or any major holiday, 3 – 5 days from the first working day. However, there may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock which will delay fulfilling your order. We will endeavour to keep customers informed of any products that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate delivery.
  • If replacement product is out of stock or unavailable a credit note will be issued, redeemable for an equivalent value for any product on our website.
  • Please note that due to hygiene reasons and regulations, pet beds and blankets that have been removed from their packaging will not be exchanged or returned.

Information and Cookies Policy

All information acquired for the purposes of purchases on our website, including the customer’s personal and credit card details, will be treated by Le Pawtique as strictly confidential at all times. Le Pawtique shall not sell or make such information known to any third parties. Only information such as the delivery address and contact number will be passed on to the relevant delivery partners for delivery purposes.

The information held by Le Pawtique is used to process orders, keep you updated with your order and improve your shopping experience. By subscribing to our mailing list, you authorise us to inform you about special offers, important site and parlor information and new site addition and improvements. However, you have the option to opt out of such marketing related e-mail communications at any time.

We use ‘cookies’ and may assist by way of live chat to keep track of your shopping session and to personalise and enhance your shopping experience.


Vouchers

Le Pawtique offer two different kinds of gift vouchers:

  • Electronic vouchers:
    These are electronic virtual vouchers available in denominations of R200, R250 and R300. These are only redeemable online.
  • In-Store vouchers:
    These vouchers can only be purchased at our physical stores, and are also available in denominations of R200, R300 and R500. These are only redeemable in-store.

Only one voucher may be redeemed per person per transaction and may not be carried over. Vouchers may not be exchanged for cash, under any circumstances, and may only be used for the purchase of items from the Le Pawtique  stores or website up to the voucher’s value. Should you exceed the value of the voucher you will be liable for the difference.

Vouchers are available on-line or in-store. Vouchers purchased will be emailed with a unique voucher code. In order to be redeemed, the voucher code must be entered in the promotion code box on the checkout page. Purchased vouchers in accordance with the CPA are valid for 3 years. 


Consumer Protection Act

Although we engage our best efforts to avoid them, the Le Pawtique website and its content, including any current or future offers, may include unintentional inaccuracies and typographical errors from time to time.

Le Pawtique makes no warranty or representation as to the availability, accuracy and completeness of the Content. In addition, Le Pawtique, shall not be liable for any direct or indirect special, consequential or other damage of any kind whatsoever suffered or incurred, related to the use of, or the inability to access or use the Website or any functionality thereof, or of any linked website.

All merchandise is sold together with only the manufacturer’s warranty, and Le Pawtique provides no additional warranties whatsoever in respect of any merchandise. Except for any statutory liability of Le Pawtique in terms of either the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”) in relation to any products sold by Le Pawtique to you off its website, or in terms of Sections 43(5) and 43(6) of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 OF 2002 (“ECTA”) in relation to Le Pawtique’s payment systems not being sufficiently secure, Neither Le Pawtique nor any of its members, employees, agents or representatives shall be liable for any damage, loss or liability of any whatsoever nature arising from the use or inability to use the Le Pawtique website or the services or content provided thereon.

Le Pawtique also makes no representations or warranties, implied or otherwise, that the content and technology available from its website are free from errors or omissions or that the service will be 100% uninterrupted and error free.
